Joshua Tree Pre-Wedding

Ganes and Shielly flew all the way from Jakarta, Indonesia, to visit Joshua Tree National Park for a pre-wedding video.  At first, I was confused about the idea of shooting a pre-wedding video, but it turns out as explained to me later, in Indonesia when couples are going to get married, the norm is to have pre-wedding shoots, with photography and videography, to honor and celebrate their future union.  I was all in for this and off we went to Joshua Tree. 

The day started at their Airbnb where we took several shots of Ganes and Shielly having coffee, walking around the location, shooting a nice sunrise and some flirty scenes inside the Airbnb.  Then we went to Pioneertown where we spent another hour or so shooting some more scenes.  It was freezing cold but that didn’t stop us!  After a quick break for lunch, we headed into the park.  Once there, we did some adventure sessions.  This involved taking some short hikes, climbing on to the famous Joshua Tree boulders, and of course, doing more scenes around all the Joshua Trees.  This shoot was nothing short of amazing!  The park is pure magic and a perfect place to marry and elope.
